Why is it that people consider buying an apartment in Northern Cyprus in preference over apartments that are for sale in other popular destinations? We believe there are a number of reasons, not just the fact that the current prices in Northern Cyprus can be as much as half the price of other Mediterranean countries and the potential return on investment is far greater too.
It is not purely a coincidence that there are vast numbers of people worldwide making the decision to invest in North Cyprus over any other countries. This could be due to the spectacular yacht marina which recently opened or the enormous new five-star complex that includes a new international golf course located in Bafra. The north of Cyprus is nowhere near as developed as the southern side, meaning that there is still an abundance of beautiful countryside that is almost untouched by modern civilisation.
Investing abroad has become the investment choice for a number of people from the UK with others deciding to completely change their lifestyle and completely relocate. Due to this many foreign nationals have already purchased land and apartments in North Cyprus.
The area of Kyrenia is still a firm favourite when it comes to investing in North Cyprus however other areas are becoming as sought after. The prices of property are still affordable making it the perfect time to invest in an apartment regardless of whether you are planning on making it your home or purely renting it for a return on your investment.
